Candle Magick is as easy as it is powerful.
All of your intent and energy is focused by concentrating on the candle.
There are accepted colors of candles that are used for different purposes . And also correspond with different days of the week, and phases of the moon.
It may sound confusing at first, but it is really very easy to understand after you get started.

Keep in mind that these are my ways of doing Candle Magick. They can differ in certain aspects with other Witches. And probably will. That is the great thing about Candle Magick. It is taking the basics and then doing what feels right to you.  For instance, I consecrate my candles and tools. Some Witches do not feel the need to. I do. To me it is as important as the spell itself. The ritual in progress starts there.
First I will show you how to consecrate your candles or tools, and then I will list the colors of candles and their corresponding uses and days of the week. Keep in mind that you can work colors on any day especially when needed right away. But, just as the phases of the moon make a spell more powerful, so can the day of the week. At least you will focus your mind to a certain day and that day will mean something to you, and feel more powerful.

Consecrating your Candles and Tools

Let's say you are consecrating your tapers. You would start by holding the taper in your hand, and with your favorite oil, (mine being rose), you would dab a bit of oil on your finger and rub the candle with your finger from the top to the middle, and then from the bottom to the middle. This is done to do an attracting spell.
To do a repelling spell, I would rub the oil from the middle to the top and from the middle to the bottom.
Once I have consecrated a candle I would not use it for any other kind of spell. I let my candles burn themselves out. But if that is not possible, I will then finish the spell the next day. But I almost always do let it burn itself out. So some may like to use shorter candles or votives. I just prefer the tapers, and use them when I have most of the day to let them burn. As I rub the oil on  I say, "I cleanse and consecrate this taper in the name of the Goddess and God". I ALWAYS end my spells by repeating that harm come to no one.

Candles and their corresponding colors and days of the week

White Monday for purity and truth
Red Tuesday strength,health and passion
Light Blue Wednesday peace,patience,understanding
Dark Blue Thursday banish depression and negativity
Green Friday attract money,fertility,luck
Black Saturday repel evil and negativity
Gold Sunday attraction,charm,confidence

I start my spells on the new moon. When the moon is waxing. Expecting a result in one way or another by the next Full Moon.
If I am going to do a spell on just one day, I would do it on the Full Moon.
There is much power on the night of a Full Moon.
You would do a banishing spell on a waning moon, (three days after a Full Moon.)

The hardest part of finding your power when you are first starting out, is all the negativity your brain will try to fill you with. Believing in yourself and your spells, is the MOST important part of the whole process.  You have to change your whole way of thinking. So when you start getting the negative thoughts, such as, "This is silly!" or this doesn't really work, just let these thoughts pass, and quickly think of something else. The negative thoughts will quit coming after awhile, or at least subside, when your magick starts to really work.

Candle Magick can be as powerful as any other spell.  Do your spells always with the best of intentions, and only when needed.
"Even a Candle leaves a shadow"
You must be very careful with each and every spell you do as to intention
and always consider what the outcome of your spell may cause to happen.

Just always remember:
