Garlic (Allum sativum, Liliaceae)

It is good for chronic or periodic fevers.
Its heating attribute though can aggravate
the blood and cause aggravated bleeding.
Garlic can increase the dullness of mind.
It is not recommended for
regular use if you are a yoga practitioner.
It is great for home use.
It helps reduce cholesterol and blood pressure.
It can help fight many infections as with the nose, throat and chest.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale; Zingiberaceae)

Ginger can be used in digestive
and respiratory disease.
And a great tonic to the heart. Externally,
it makes a good paste for pain
and headaches. Do not use, or get advice
if you have any inflammatory skin problems,
high fevers or bleeding or ulcers.

Lavender

Lavender though mostly known for its wonderful scent,
is also known as a relaxing herb.

Lemon Balm
